INTRODUCTION:
Most of us are aware of the Purpose Driven Movement, the first thing that I want us to do is to look to
is origin. Who
are the architects? What is their motivation? Is it based on the scriptures? Do your own research,
Allow the Holy Spirit
to guide and teach you.
I would like to know- to what purpose.
The purpose driven movement does not represent itself  as a movement toward God.
I do believe that it is spirit driven, but would someone please identify the driving spirit?
The Purpose Driven Movement seem to give credence to the idea humanism, that says that “man is
basically good”,
but the scriptures declare that man is basically bad, and humanity needs a savior. Man cannot save
himself.
It appears that the above mentioned movement wants to change the Word of God to fit their
lifestyles, but true
Christians are those that are transformed by the Word, and fashion their lives and belief system on
the content of the
Holy Writ.
The Lord Jesus Christ will be the one to save us, not modern day ideology.
Let the true believers Blow the Trumpet in Zion, and sound the alarm.
Let us Follow God!
Let us look to the Word as our guide to salvation. (The Word is still infallible)




2 Tim 3:1-5
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,   
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those
that are good,
4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn  away.

Acts 2:17-18
17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:
and your sons and
your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream
dreams:
18  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they
shall prophesy:



Two identical phrases are used in these very different passages of scripture.
This phrase is "in the last days."

2 Tim 3:5  
"having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof."

Acts 2:17-18  
"....and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and
your old men shall
dream dreams:
18  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they
shall prophesy:"


NOW EVERYONE IS FAMILIAR WITH THE HOLY GHOST BEING POURED OUT IN THE LAST DAYS
BUT I WANT TO
TALK A LITTLE ABOUT THE DEVIL'S SPIRIT IN THESE LAST DAYS

1.  WHILE THE HOLY GHOST IS BEING POURED OUT UPON MANY - THE DEVIL WILL ALSO TRY
TO MIMIC THE
TRUE CHURCH.

A.  This is a dangerous time for the ones uncommitted to Christ.

1 Tim 4:1-2
1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving
heed to seducing
spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

1.  Those who seek God in a half-hearted way will receive a spirit that makes them believe their right.

I Jn 4:4-6
4  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than
he that is in the
world.
5  They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world  heareth them.
6  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God  heareth (does not
produce the things of
God)  not us. Hereby know we the     spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1.  Six out of the seven Churches of Revelation wasn't doing God's will - but they thought they were!
WE ARE EXHORTED BY JOHN

I Jn 4:1
1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of     God: because many
false prophets are
gone out into the world.

LISTEN TO THE DESCRIPTION OF THESE FOUND IN ERROR

Ezek 33:31-32
31  And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they
hear thy words,
but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their
covetousness.
32  And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play
well on an
instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

YOU SEE THESE BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE RIGHT AND THAT THEY ARE CHRISTIANS.  THEY
COME TO CHURCH
REGULARLY AS REAL CHRISTIANS.  THEY LOOK TALK AND ACT THE SAME.

HOW CAN THEY DO THIS?
Titus 1:15-16
15  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure;
but even their
mind and conscience is defiled.
16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and
disobedient, and unto every
good work reprobate.

Defiled miaino (me-ah'-ee-no);
Contaminated

Reprobate adokimos (ad-ok'-ee-mos);
Unapproved, i.e. Rejected; by implication, worthless (literally or morally): castaway

Titus 1:16
16  They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient
and unfit for doing
anything good. (NIV)

Luke 6:43-46
43  For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44  For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble
bush gather they
grapes.
45  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil
man out of the evil
treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth
speaketh.
46  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Here's a warning to you and I.
Eccl 5:1
1  Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the
sacrifice of fools, who
do not know that they do wrong. (NIV)
YOU SEE THESE PEOPLE ARE DECEIVED
THEY DO NOT KNOW THEY ARE DOING WRONG!

THEY HAVE FOOLED AROUND WITH GOD SO LONG THAT GOD TURNS THEM OVER TO THEIR
OWN DESIRES

YES IN THE LAST DAYS GOD IS GOING TO FILL THE SINCERE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

SATAN WILL ALSO FILL THE INSINCERE WITH HIS UNHOLY SPIRIT

SAPPHARA AND ANANIAS

Acts 5:3
3  Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the
Holy Spirit and have
kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?
(NIV)

FURTHER

In the above mentioned movement, Sin has been reduced to bad mistakes, or bad choices.
The Scriptures proclaim that "sin is a voluntary departure from the faith!"
Where is the Blood that atones us in their message, method and model?
Where is the cross in their message?
My friend we are not saved by doing better and turning over a new leaf, but rather when we confess
our sins
(recognise them as sin and not just mishaps and mistakes) Turn from our previous lifestyle, take up
His cross and
follow him. We don't hear anything about bearing the burden of the cross.
They of this movement have genuinely appealed to the fleshly aspects of live. But our spirits need to
be empowered
and that will never come through appeasing the flesh.
"they that are of the flesh follow the flesh, but they that are of the Spirit follow the things of the Spirit,
CONCLUDE:
Do you really know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life?
Does you fruit testify a Godly lifestyle?
Or does your fruit testify to yourself, the flesh and carnal desires?
